May 5th-9th is Teacher Appreciation Week, and our PTO has planned fun ways to celebrate the incredible educators who inspire our kids every day! Each day has a special theme—from bringing flowers/books to sharing sweet treats or wearing their favorite color. Let’s come together to show our teachers just how much they mean to us! Check the flyer for daily details, and don’t forget to help stock the staff lounge all week

The Sakamoto Carnival 05/03 
Our Sakamoto Carnival is ONLY two months away. Now is the time to start planning, volunteering, and getting excited for a day full of fun, games, and community spirit! Join Sakamoto Elementary's family-friendly carnival on Saturday, May 3rd, from 3-7PM at Sakamoto Elementary School! Enjoy free parking and all-inclusive wristbands for $20 (pre-order) or $25 (day-of). The event features a 24-ft slide, petting zoo, carnival games, live performances, food trucks, and more. Proceeds support school programs like art, music, and PE.

-Artisan Alley: Are you or someone you know a talented artisan? We’re looking for vendors to showcase their crafts! A vendor agreement must be signed to participate.

-Food Trucks: Know a great food truck? Help us bring delicious eats to the carnival!
-Volunteers: We need helping hands to make this event a success.
